Kaduna, Nigeria – In a remarkable display of unity and appreciation, Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru, the General Overseer of Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry in Kaduna, has publicly praised the Kano State Hisbah Board for its proactive stance in tackling issues related to immorality propagated by social media influencers across Northern Nigeria.

The Kano State Hisbah Board, under the leadership of Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, has been at the forefront of monitoring and intervening in the activities of social media influencers. Their efforts aim to prevent the spread of immoral content that deviates from our rich cultural heritage and African traditions.

Speaking at a press conference, Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru emphasized the need for a collective approach in instilling discipline and promoting positive African cultures. He urged citizens to actively discourage negative content on social media platforms. "We must unite in shaping values and educating our children about the significance of cultural preservation," he asserted.

Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru and his team of pastors unequivocally expressed their support for Sheik Daurawa's initiatives. These initiatives specifically address the influence of **TikTokers** and social media influencers who often promote foreign cultures. By endorsing these efforts, the Christian leaders underscored the importance of safeguarding our cultural identity.

The commendation also highlighted the critical role of state governments in actively monitoring and regulating citizens' content-sharing activities. The focus is on curbing immoral content dissemination. The Christian clerics emphasized the need for public awareness campaigns, particularly regarding the detrimental effects of explicit material on platforms like TikTok.

This commendation comes on the heels of an invitation extended by Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, the Commander-General of the Board, to female TikTokers in Kano. The invitation aims to foster dialogue and cooperation in addressing social media influence and promoting cultural values.

As Northern Nigeria grapples with the challenges posed by digital platforms, the collaboration between religious leaders and government bodies becomes increasingly crucial. The Kano State Hisbah Board's proactive stance serves as a beacon of hope in preserving our cultural fabric amidst the ever-evolving landscape of social media.
