Plateau State Governor Congratulates Kemi Nandap on Her Historic Appointment as Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Kemi Nandap on her elevation to the esteemed position of Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS). The appointment, effective from March 1, 2024, marks a significant milestone in Nandap's illustrious career.

According to a statement, Governor Mutfwang lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's discernment in selecting Nandap for this critical role. Describing her as the epitome of competence and experience, he expressed unwavering confidence in her ability to excel. 

Nandap's prior service as Deputy Comptroller-General, overseeing the Migration Directorate, positions her well to lead the NIS into a new era.

The Governor urged Nandap to leverage her expertise to drive ongoing reforms within the service. As part of the Renewed Hope administration under President Tinubu, she has a pivotal role in ensuring effective and efficient service delivery. Governor Mutfwang also encouraged her to introduce innovative strategies that enhance national security through optimal border management.
