At the 6th Annual Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace Conference, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State underscored the significance of unity and peace among religious leaders. Delighted to host the event, he emphasized Kaduna's strength in diversity, committing to an all-inclusive administration that promotes equity and justice for development and ethnic harmony.

The conference's theme, "Tackling Poverty and Insecurity in Nigeria: Our Collective Responsibilities," highlighted the nation's challenges. Governor Sani urged evidence-based approaches, calling for a comprehensive review of insecurity causes through research and a shift to strategic thinking in security matters.

Key points included the need for effective intelligence gathering, modernizing security agencies, and a complete overhaul of the security architecture.

Governor Sani passionately advocated for state police, decentralized security operations, and enhanced coordination among agencies.

Addressing corruption, he emphasized the fight against ill-gotten wealth and the need to channel energies toward decent work. Proposing non-kinetic approaches, including psychological operations, he concluded by stressing the importance of leadership and urged religious leaders for actionable recommendations.

Governor Sani was honored with the "Beacon of Interfaith, Peace, and Unity" award at the conference's conclusion, which aims to forge partnerships, gather influential leaders, and seek solutions to Nigeria's challenges with a strong emphasis on hope and unity.
