The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency with deep sorrow announces the passing of Hajiya Hannatu Zailani, Director of Finance and Administration.
In a statement by the Public Relation Office of the Agency manned by Yunusa Muhammed Abdullahi said, Hajiya Hannatu passed away today at a private hospital in Kaduna after a brief illness.
Hajiya Hannatu was a dedicated public servant with a long and distinguished career at the agency. She began her service in the early 1990s and rose through the ranks to become Director of Finance and Administration. From 2019 to 2022, she also served as the Overseer of the Agency.
Hajiya Hannatu's dedication and leadership will be deeply missed. We offer our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues.
Hajiya Hannatu is survived by her husband and children. Her funeral was held today at Unguwa Sarki Kaduna cemetery according to Islamic rites, the statement concluded.
