The Arewa Ambassador International College of Health Science and Technology, Zaria, has embarked on an ambitious initiative, aiming to provide free circumcision to 1000 children as part of its commitment to community well-being.
College Director, Murtala Iliyasu, made this announcement during the commencement of the exercise at the college premises on Saturday. He emphasized that this free circumcision drive is a crucial component of the college’s corporate social responsibility towards the surrounding communities.
Iliyasu further stated that this is not an isolated endeavor, as the college management is dedicated to consistently engaging in community outreach programs beyond this specific initiative.
The Director expressed profound gratitude to Justice Isiyaku Bello Kuliyan Zazzau, the college’s Grand Patron, for his invaluable support and contributions that have been instrumental in the success of numerous college programs.
He acknowledged Justice Bello as the cornerstone of their achievements, highlighting his significant influence within the community. Iliyasu affirmed that the college holds Justice Bello in the highest esteem and is immensely proud to have him as their Grand Patron, particularly given his profound impact on society.
He emphasized that the Grand Patron’s unwavering support will forever be etched in the college’s history, as the institution continues to thrive, consistently producing highly skilled healthcare professionals.
Looking ahead, the College Director pledged to enhance its corporate social responsibility efforts by incorporating crucial health screenings, such as high blood pressure tests and other relevant disease checks, into future initiatives, starting from the 2025 exercise.
