2023 Polls: INEC Recruits Over Thirty thousand Adhoc Staff for Election in Kaduna

The Independent National Commission INEC, Kaduna state has confirmed its readiness for the 2023 General Election.
The commission started this on Thursday during its first stakeholder meetings held at the headquarters, with all the relevant stakeholders in the State.
The commission administrative secretary, Alhaji Auwal Mohammed Mashi said, over 70 percent of election materials, and funds are ready for action.


He said Seventy percent of non-sensitive materials are available and the sensitive ones are with the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

Auwal said, for the last registration of PVC, the commission has produced four hundred and eight thousand new registered cards out of which 85% have been collected, alongside changes of location we have two thousand and eight relocation cases out of which only thirty-three are remaining.

"Kaduna state so far has eight thousand and twelve polling unit in the State.
Furthermore, on recruitment of ad-hoc staff, thirty-four thousand ad-hoc staff were recruited".


Speaking on the additional polling unit, the secretary informed the meeting of additional two thousand nine hundred and ten polling units created in the state.
