Commissioner of Police Kaduna State Command, CP M.Y. Garba has while greeting Muslim faithful in the state, and also assured them that adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure hitch free Sallah celebration.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Muhammad Jalige, made available yesterday, said Area Commanders, DPOd and Tactical Commanders were directed to ensure 24 hours patrol. "In furtherance of the foregoing, the Commissioner of Police directed all the Area Commanders and their Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) as well as Tactical Commanders to mobilized all Operational and intelligence assets at their disposal for protection of all major highways, places of worship, recreational and other facilities to ensure hitch free celebration.
