SIMON MWADKWON, A BLESSING TO PLATEAU STATE SAYS PDP STATE CHAIRMAN AND HAILS NWC FOR THE NOMINATION

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Plateau state chapter, Honourable. Chris Hassan has congratulated Sen. Simon Mwankwon as he emerged the Minority Leader of the 10th Senate and hails the National Working Committee (NWC), of the PDP under the leadership of Amb. Umar Iliya Damagun for considering Plateau State for this exalted office.

This is contained in a statement by the Personal Assistant on Media and Protocol to the PDP State Chairman, Kefas Sumdi, Honourable Chris Hassan made the remarks during the State working committee (SWC) meeting at the party Secretariat in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.

The Chairman stressed that Sen. Mwadkwon has keyyed into the philosophy of the Chief leader of the State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang the captain of the "Time is now", the visionary and revolutionary leader.

He said the 10th Senate needs seasoned and experienced principal  officers to advance the country's interest in which Sen. Mwadkwon is eminently qualified and was chosen because of his achievements and antecedents as two term House of Representatives member representing Riyom/B-ladi Federal Constituency, his consistency in sustaining the party at home is quite commendable and holistic development is what earned him the title Grassroots Apostle.

He appealed to young legislators in the country to imbibe the spirit of integrity, honesty and selfless service to move the nation forward. He also, appreciates the endorsement by his Senator colleagues.
