Anti Corruption Group Calls For Investigation, Suspension Of BOA MD

The Anti Corruption Corps has urged President  Bola Ahmed Tinubu to suspend the acting Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture  Alwan Ali Alhassan over the misappropriation of  Government funds.

The Director General Anti Corruption Corps, Dr. Abdullahi Abdullah  Gimba, stated this in a press release made available to newsmen in Kaduna.

According to the statement, "It's important to note that the MD last year have gathered people from various states across the Nation that loan will be distributed to them. It's very unfortunate how our people from the villages used to sleep on the streets"

"Those forms were given to them with nothing useful, the majority of them couldn't afford their transportation fees back to their localities they turned to be beggars on the street, what a shame, this act resulted in numerous insults on our Dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu"

 'it is very unfortunate that he  gathered people and refused them the money that they were due after everyone knew that money had been given to him almost 10 billion naira he gave no one a single kobo"


"Majority of the applicants have met the criteria but he has been creating many stories. He is an enemy of this administration, he has deceived Nigerians despite the facts that agriculture is the root of our economy" 

" Mr President we call on you to Suspend Mr. Alwan Ali Alhassan from his position as Acting MD pending a comprehensive investigation into the allegations raised" the Statement concluded. 

The Anti Corruption Corps called for the constituting committee to thoroughly investigate the allegation they raised against the Ag. MD during his tenure.
