Security Agencies and Mosque Management Board in Kaduna State Call for Action

Security agencies in Kaduna state, along with the Sultan Bello Mosque Management Board, have issued a strong appeal for decisive measures against those seeking to instigate a crisis within the mosque.

Saleh Buhari Bello, President of the Students Forum, emphasized the urgency of this call during a press briefing at the JNI headquarters in Kaduna.

He stressed the need to thwart any malicious efforts aimed at disrupting the longstanding peace and tranquility of this historically significant mosque.

The Forum's response was prompted by a specific social media post authored by Dr. Jamilu Muhammad Sadis. Contrary to claims made in that post, Dr. Sadis is not associated with either Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gumi or Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Gumi.

Allegations that he has been appointed to deputize Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Gumi during Tafsir presentations and other religious teachings at Sultan Bello Mosque are baseless and fabricated.

The Forum firmly asserts that these unfounded allegations originate from undesirable elements with no genuine connection to the mosque or the teachings of the late Sheikh Abubakar Gumi.

The mosque has long been a bastion of peace, and any attempts to incite chaos within its walls are unwarranted and unjustified.
