Makarfi Local Government Area witnessed a heartwarming event as the Musa Sufi Mayere Youths Empowerment Foundation distributed financial assistance to over 800 less-privileged individuals.
The beneficiaries, comprising vulnerable women, widows, orphans, and other disadvantaged members of society, received support in Mayere, the hometown of the foundation's chairman, Musa Sufi.
Alhaji Usman Tafida, a Kaduna-based young philanthropist and chairman of the foundation, explained that the gesture aimed to share joy and alleviate the hardship faced by the less privileged, particularly during this period of financial constraints.
He emphasized that the selection criteria were based on need, regardless of religious, cultural, or political background.
The foundation plans to expand its activities to provide educational support, including payment of WAEC fees, JAMB forms, and scholarships, to ensure a brighter future for the younger generation in the area.
