The Peace Revival and Reconciliation Foundation of Nigeria (PRRFON) has paid an advocacy visit to Search for Common Ground Nigeria (SFCGN) on Friday, aimed at strengthening relationships in peace-building matters in Kaduna State.

Led by President Pastor (Dr.) Yohanna Buru, the PRRFON team commended SFCGN for its vital role in educating women, and traditional, and religious leaders on early warning and response to conflicts. 

Buru emphasized the necessity of the visit, considering SFCGN's pivotal role in promoting peace, unity, and religious tolerance in the state.

The purpose of the visit was to foster closer rapport and relationships that could enhance peace and stability in Kaduna state. 

Buru thanked the Project Manager of SFCGN, Mr. Williams Ubimago, for their efforts in training women, youth, and faith-based leaders on issues related to religious tolerance.

In response, Ubimago welcomed the team and affirmed SFCGN's readiness to collaborate with like-minded peace organizations for the advancement of Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole. 

He informed the guests about the upcoming Kaduna Interfaith Dialogue (KID) workshop, designed to bolster the capacities of all faith-based organizations in the state on Freedom of Religious Belief (FoRB) and deliberate on ways to enhance peace and unity.

Ubimago emphasized SFCGN's full commitment to hosting a significant event in the first week of May aimed at strengthening peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance. 

Members of the Network of Peace Journalists (NPJ) were also present, with Team Lead Ibrahima Yakubu stressing the importance of Nigerian journalists embracing Peace Journalism to safeguard peaceful coexistence among adherents of different faiths in the state.

Ibrahima applauded SFCGN's efforts in training women journalists on peace-building journalism in the state.
