KADIRS Hosts Plateau State Internal Revenue Service on Peer Review Visit and Study Tour

The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) received a delegation from the Plateau State Internal Revenue Service (PSIRS) on a study tour and peer review visit. 

The delegation according to a statement by the Head, Corporate Communications, KADIRS, Zakari Jamilu Muhammad was led by Mrs. Emily Ufulul Daboer, Group Head Revenue Operations, and included other top officials from PSIRS.

The KADIRS management team, led by Dr. Muhammad Lawal, Executive Director Corporate Service, welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of the tax administration in Kaduna State. The session focused on KADIRS' enforcement model, revenue operation model, organogram, tax education and advocacy model, taxpayer service charter model, and automation model.

The visit aimed to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration between the two revenue agencies. The delegation engaged in in-depth discussions and explored best practices in tax administration, revenue generation, and innovation.

Other officials present at the meeting included Executive Directors, Directors, and Heads of Departments from KADIRS.

This peer review visit and study tour demonstrate the commitment of both agencies to improve tax administration and revenue generation in their respective states.
