EMBRACE UNITY, TEAM WORK, NLC KADUNA CHAIRPERSON URGE NEWLY ELECTED WOMEN COMMITTEE EXECUTIVES

The Nigeria Labor Congress Chairperson Kaduna State , Comrade Ayuba Suleiman Magaji have urge the newly elected Women Committee executives to embrace unity, and team work ,NLC work is a Democratic level, and on people's choice and demand.

Comrade Ayuba who stated this during his opening remarks at the delegates conference of the state Women Committee held at Medical and Health Workers Lodge 14A Gwari Avenue Barnawa GRA Kaduna.

Comrade Suleiman explain the need for unity, that during election time" time like this, dialogue is allow for the progress of the women committee to succeed in all it's affairs.

" We believe in dialogue and swapping , looking at those that can deliver and bring the women Wing to it's best, we are working for one another as one big family, he added.

In her welcome address, the outgone Chairperson, Comrade Marta Banki, thank all members for the support given to her during her eight years in service for women in Kaduna.

" I thank you all for your support and encouragement towards making sure that my tenure was a huge success, you all have contributed to the success of the eighth years of my service as the Chairperson of the women Wing, I am grateful, she added.

In her acceptance remarks, the newly elected Chairperson, comrade Agnes John, said that her emergence is a testament to the trust and faith share in collective pursuit of promoting women's welfare and rights within the unions, the Nigeria Labor movement and the broader society.

Comrade Agnes John from the NUPENG Union urged women for the need for the important of unity, love , cooperation, and dedication.

" The success of our Women Committee will depend on our ability to work together, listen to each other's perspectives, and support one another in our endeavours.

" I pledge to foster an inclusive leadership styles that gives voice to every member, ensuring that our decision reflect the needs and aspiration of all women in our unions, she pledge.

Other activities include; presentation of award to all the outgone executives, paper presentation on the topic "Sustainable Women Empowerment; catalyst for Trade Union Leadership and Politics Participation", by Comrade Esther Kure.

She encourage women to be active in all affairs of political participation and issues that concerned trade unions all over the country not only in Kaduna.

" Looking at the good legacy of comrade Marta Banki, we should emulate her and the state Chairperson efforts in the support for women inclusive.
