ACF Marks 25th Anniversary with ₦9 Billion Endowment Pledges from Dangote, Rabiu, and Other Dignitaries By Aliyu Ibrahim, Staff Reporter

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has received financial donations in pledges of about Nine Billion Naira from different individuals into its newly launched endowment fund as part of 25 years of its existence commemoration anniversary.

The Twenty Fifth years anniversary celebration of the ACF was held at the Umaru Musa Ya’adu’a Conference Hall in Kaduna.

Highest donation for the newly launched endowment fund of Two Point Five Billion Naira each came from chairman of the Dangote Group Alh. Aliko Dangote and Chairman of the BUA Group of companies Alh. Abdulsamad Isyaku Rabiu.

Alh. Abdulsamad Isyaku Rabiu, who announced the donation on behalf of the two leading Africa’s business moguls and also Chief launcher of the occasion said he was proud to be part of ACF Twenty Fifth anniversary celebration as an organization founded to safe guard heritage and unity of the north and also as a platform for dialogue guidance for leadership and for socio economic enhancement of the region.

He then advocated for the need to build a more stranger prosperous and united entity of peoples of the North and to address problems affecting developmental strides of the region from educational gaps, economic disparity and insecurity challenges.

Former Minister of Defence Gen T.Y. Danjuma Chairman Max Air, and Mangal Cement Companies Alh. Dahiru Mangal announced a donation of One Billion Naira each to the endowment fund, while members of ACF Finance Sub- Committee of the event chaired by Alh. Kashim Imam gave a donation of 500 Million Naira respectively.

The event was attended by dignitaries present and past top government functionaries traditional ruler’s from the North and other part of the country which include the Sultan of Sokoto Alh. Sa’ad Abubakar, Shehu of Borno Alh. Abubakar Garbai ibn Umar El-Kanemi, Ooni of IFE Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Former River State Governor and Minister of Transport Chief Rotimi Amechi among others.
