2026 President Beach Volleyball: Title Contenders Confirmed




 




The battle lines have been drawn for the finals of the 2026 President Beach Volleyball Tournament holding at the Murtala Mohammed Square Beach Courts, as teams booked their places following the semi-final matches.


In the men’s final, Savannah Spikers will square off against Kano Pillars, while the women’s final will feature a clash between Kada Emeralds and Anista.


Monday’s semi-final action produced thrilling encounters, particularly in the women’s category. Anista fought back to defeat Katsina 2–1. The opening set ended 23–21 in Anista’s favour, Katsina responded by taking the second set 22–20, before Anista cruised to a 15–6 win in the decider.


In the other women’s semi-final, Kada Emeralds were in dominant form as they swept aside Adamawa Spikers in straight sets, winning 21–17 and 21–12.


The men’s semi-finals were equally competitive. Kano Pillars I secured their final berth after edging Akapson VC 2–1. Kano Pillars raced to a 21–6 win in the first set, dropped the second 16–21, but regained control to seal the third set 15–4.


In the final men’s semi-final, Savannah Spikers overcame Dynamite VC in another three-set contest. Savannah claimed the first set 21–19, conceded the second 18–21, and finished strongly with a 15–6 victory in the deciding set.


The championship matches of the 2026 President Beach Volleyball Tournament will be played on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
