A Nigeria-based transportation company, Silver Freight and Allied Ventures, has been honoured with awards for excellence and outstanding service delivery spanning over four decades by both local and international organisations.
The firm was recognised for its deployment of modern global technological facilities, commitment to safety standards, responsible conduct of drivers, passenger comfort, and timely delivery of passengers and goods.
Managing Director of the company, Senator Lawal Aliyu Saminaka, disclosed this while receiving a recent award presented to the organisation by the Arewa Publishers Forum in Kaduna.
Senator Saminaka explained that the company operates with a dedicated workforce comprising professional truck and bus drivers who are subjected to strict monitoring procedures to ensure responsible driving practices through the use of tracking devices.
He added that the company exclusively uses imported spare parts sourced directly from manufacturers in order to avoid counterfeit products and maintain high operational standards.
According to him, the company has also earned recognition as one of the leading firms in petroleum products transportation in Nigeria.
The managing director further revealed that the company currently operates ten passenger transport terminals located across major cities including Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Jos, Port Harcourt and Katsina.
Earlier in his remarks, National President of the Arewa Publishers Forum, Dr. Sani Garba, said the company was selected for the award after careful assessment and observation of its operations and achievements over the years.
He commended the organisation for maintaining high service standards and urged the management to sustain the momentum by expanding its operations across the country to enable more Nigerians benefit from its services while attaining greater growth and development.
