The Lady Captain of the Kaduna golf club Ms Dorcas Daniel have describe children in a special children,'s day celebration, as the pride of the family, hope of the communities, and future of the nation. Over 150 children participants.
The program gathered over one hundred and fifty children's ranging from the ages of 2 years and above, involving them on golfing activities, alongside fun fairs to enable them enjoy, association with one another.
Activities from golf competition gather children from 2-6 years who were engage on chipping and putting 12 of them participate and the runner-up winner who putted one , Yusuf Adamu, 2 years old second runner up Mohammed Abdullahi while Kayla Daniel, Anastatia Samuel putted 3 of 5 and 6 years old, among others.
For the ladies 6-10 of age who played two holes runner -up Gross Fedora Adesisi 14 years, best Gross Zainab Haruna 11 years , while category 1 11-18 (6) holes the best winner is Ummikhulsum Haruna 35 neth.
In the boys categories, runner up Gross Israel Silas 38, second runner-up Jeremi Yahaya 34 ,while the best Gross Edmond Godwin 33, in category 1 runner up Gross Haruna Saew 30, best Gross Damul Kolade 29.
In her opening remark the lady captain Ms Docas said, "as the lady golfer's organise Children's Day special clinic for young one from the ages of 6 to 18 years of different categories that, the celebration reminded parents of collective responsibility to nurture, protect, educate, and guide them as they grow into the leaders of tomorrow.
"While we celebrate today, our hearts also go out to children across Nigeria who are facing difficult circumstances.
We remember and pray for all children who have been affected by insecurity and violence in different parts of our country.
"In particular, we stand in solidarity with the families and communities whose children have experienced the trauma of abduction and insecurity.
"As parents and guardians, we pray for the safety, protection, and well-being of every child, and we hope for a future where all children can live, learn, and grow in peace and security, she prayed.
She therefore appreciate the club Captain, the Board of Trustees, the Management Committee, sponsors, and donors, club members, and everyone who contributed to making this celebration a success.
Adding that Your generosity and support have made it possible for these children to enjoy a memorable and meaningful day.
