The Yari 774 Initiative for Asiwaju has intensified its grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections with the inauguration and consolidation of its Kaduna State structure.
Speaking during a working visit to Kaduna, the National Chairman of the initiative, Ibrahim Emokpaire, said the organisation was committed to mobilising support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and promoting the Renewed Hope agenda across the country.
Emokpaire said the initiative, which has structures in Nigeria's 774 local government areas, was established to support grassroots empowerment and strengthen citizen participation in governance.
He disclosed that the organisation is backed by its convener and grand patron, Senator Abdul'aziz Abubakar Yari, and announced plans to formally unveil its manifesto during an upcoming national inauguration ceremony.
According to him, members of the initiative would continue to work across communities to mobilise support for President Tinubu's second-term bid, expressing confidence that the administration's policies would deliver long-term benefits to Nigerians.
The national chairman also acknowledged the country's security challenges but maintained that they were surmountable, adding that the Federal Government was taking steps to address them.
Earlier, Kaduna State Coordinator of the initiative, Aminu Yaro Suleiman, welcomed the national delegation and pledged the commitment of members in the state to the objectives of the organisation.
He said the Kaduna chapter was prepared to play a leading role in grassroots mobilisation and support the expansion of the initiative across all local government areas of the state.
Suleiman described the visit as a demonstration of the national leadership's commitment to strengthening the organisation and ensuring unity among members.
The visit formed part of the initiative's strategic tour of the North-West geopolitical zone aimed at consolidating its structures and preparing for future political engagements.
Political stakeholders, youth leaders, women groups and supporters attended the meeting, which also provided an opportunity for discussions on the organisation's programmes and plans ahead of the 2027 elections.
