NASARAWA COACHES’ ASSOCIATION CARETAKER COMMITTEE VISITS DANLADI

Following the constitution of a Caretaker Committee for the Nasarawa State Football Coaches’ Association by the Coach Ladan Bosso-led National Board of the Nigeria Coaches’ Association, members of the newly-inaugurated Caretaker Committee were at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to pay familiarisation visit to the Permanent Secretary, Chief Barr. Isaac Danladi, in Lafia.

Chairman of the Committee and leader of delegation, Umar Ali Zanwa, told Danladi that they were at his office to congratulate him on his most recent appointment as Permanent Secretary and to inform him about their appointment and subsequent inauguration as Caretaker Committee Members by the National Executive of the Nigeria Coaches’ Association, to, among others, stabilize the Association in the State and conduct elections into the Local and State’s chapters’ offices, respectively, following the expiry of the tenure of the previous occupants headed by Coach Ibrahim Yayaha Sabo(a.k.a Bagu).

Zanwa solicited the support of the Permanent Secretary and Ministry to enable them carry out their task effectively.

Responding, the Permanent Secretary, Chief. Barr. Isaac Danladi, thanked the delegation for the visit and congratulated them on being found worthy to carry out the herculean task.

Danladi said he has had a long-standing relationship with members of the Committee and never had any iota of doubts in their abilities to deliver on the job assigned to them.

“Thank you for the visit and for pledging your solidarity and loyalty to me and the Ministry.

“Coaches are key components as far as sport is concerned. They are mostly at the receiving end when things go well or awry.

“I encourage you that we will synergize with you to succeed to attain your goals, not just at the Committee level, but as Coaches of various local clubs in the State.”

The Caretaker Committee is given three months to deliver on their mandate.
