Hon. Chris Hassan the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Plateau State Chapter, has commended the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang for appointing 136 youths as Special Assistants across the 17 Local Government Areas.
A statement by the Personal Assistant on Media and Protocol to the PDP State Chairman, Kefas Sumdi said the commendation was at the instance of the governor's approval for the youths into various positions of governance, describing it as historic.
The PDP Chairman said, "Gov. Mutfwang is strong, agile and democratic. He will nurture the youths bring out the full potential in them and promote the integrity of our state.
He maintained, that Gov. Mutfwang will provide youths the enabling environment and create hope for the youths as stakeholders in the State Government.
He urged the youths to justify the confidence reposed in them as the "time is now" to prove their worth and leadership skills.
He is confident in the next coming days the party will celebrate Gov. Mutfwang's victory at the tribunal despite the temporary setback of his senator and Reps members.
