Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has taken decisive steps to invigorate Gombe State's media landscape by appointing Ibrahim Isa of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) as the new Director-General of the Gombe State Media Corporation (GMC). 

This appointment, effective immediately, is a testament to Isa's sterling credentials and extensive experience in journalism. Isa's wealth of expertise is expected to inject fresh perspectives and innovative ideas into the GMC, enhancing its capacity to deliver accurate and timely information to the public. 


In another significant move, Governor Inuwa Yahaya has elevated Dr. Ishiyaku Babayo Mohammed from Senior Special Assistant to Special Adviser on Development Partners Coordination. 

Dr. Mohammed's promotion underscores his exceptional contributions and effectiveness in driving development initiatives within the state. Governor Inuwa Yahaya expressed confidence that Dr. Mohammed's elevated role will further propel the state's partnership efforts, attracting resources and support vital for Gombe State's progress and well-being.
