"IPMAN Kaduna Reduces Diesel Price, Urges Traders to Follow Suit"

The Kaduna State Branch of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has lowered the price of diesel and asked traders in various markets to do the same.

The chairman of IPMAN in the state, Alhaji Abdulfatah Murtala, spoke to reporters about the high prices of petroleum products. He said that even though there are challenges, the members are doing their best to make sure these products are available for people to buy.

He mentioned that people are upset about not having enough petroleum products and how expensive they are, but he promised that they will make sure the products are there for them.

Alhaji Murtala also said that because of IPMAN's work, 70% of the fuel is now coming from depots, which makes things easier.

He is hopeful that once the Dangote and Port Harcourt Refineries start working smoothly, there will be less trouble with fuel shortages.

At the same time, the chairman of the Traders Association of Nigeria in Kaduna State, Alhaji Abdurrahman Muhammad, talked about the economy. He believes that if the value of the dollar keeps going up, the prices of important items will go down.

He also said that if the price of oil goes down, it will help lower the prices of goods and other things in the markets.

The chairman asked traders in Nigeria to be honest in their business to get blessings from Allah.

Talking about the security problems in the country, Alhaji Abdurrahman said that prayer and the help of religious and traditional leaders can also solve these issues.

He called on the Kaduna State government to invest more in improving markets and helping traders to boost business activities.
