The All Progressives Congress (APC), Plateau State Chapter, has congratulated workers on the May Day celebration, commending their selfless service and resilience in the face of challenges.

The party praised the Federal Government for its commitment to workers' welfare and the Tinubu administration's worker-friendly approach, which refrains from victimizing civil servants based on political affiliations.

This was contained in a statement signed by the acting Publicity Secretary of APC, Shittu Bamaiyi issued in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.

The APC urged the Plateau State Government to emulate the Federal Government's example, providing a conducive work environment and respecting workers' rights, including freedom of association.

The party cautioned against punishing or retiring civil servants due to perceived political inclinations, citing the ongoing litigations against the State Government as a result of such actions.

In conclusion, the APC wished workers a happy May Day and encouraged them to remain hopeful and determined for a better Nigeria.
