Katuka: Kaduna ADC Concludes Congress, Eyes Strong Showing in 2027

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it will take all necessary steps to mobilize voters to come out en masse and elect its candidates in next year’s general elections, with the aim of ushering in leaders committed to providing the desired governance and addressing the plight of citizens across the country.

The Kaduna State Chairman of the ADC, Dr. Ayuba Katuka, disclosed this during an interview with newsmen in Kaduna.

The chairman of the Kaduna State branch of the African Democratic Congress further stressed that the deteriorating welfare of the people and the menace of insecurity are clear indications of the need to mobilize the populace to consider the credible option the party is preparing to offer in the 2027 elections. He noted that this would enable voters to elect leaders capable of effectively addressing the various challenges bedeviling the country.

He said that, in line with the party’s manifesto, the ADC prioritizes improving the welfare of the people, addressing insecurity, tackling hunger and poverty, and enhancing access to basic necessities that directly affect the common man. He added that these issues would remain at the front burner of its policies and programmes to be implemented from the state to the federal level if the party is voted into power.

Dr. Katuka also revealed that, in line with directives from the party’s national headquarters, the Kaduna State branch of the ADC has concluded its state congress, which produced new executive officials. He explained that the various offices were zoned across the three senatorial zones of the state.
