Former International and Iwuanyanwu National (now Heartland FC) prolific striker and 1990 league highest goal scorer, Ishaya Jatau has described Kazeem Abdulrafiu a striker in his mould.
He made this assertion after the powerfully built and free scoring number 9 joined Nasarawa United in the mid season transfer window and made his debut for the Lafia based side against Enyimba International in matchday eleven that finished 1-1 in Aba.
"I've seen Kazeem played severally and have seen him scored astonishing goals. I saw him scored against Nasarawa United and Gombe United in preseason friendlies at the ABS in Kaduna and other matches thereafter.
" He reminds me of my heydays in the domestic league and others countries i was previleged to take my trade to. He will surely go places with his pace, presence and conversion rate as a striker especially now that he has joined a very good club in Nasarawa United coached by a highly experienced gaffer in Bala Nikyu. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets an U-20 invite because you need such quality in your team and Kazeem possesses such. If he's called up by the Flying Eagles handlers, I'm very confident that he would make the final cut to the World Cup in May".
It would be recalled that Kazeem Abdulrafiu emerged as the highest goal scorer of the 2021/2022 KSCD YOCA Bet9a league season with 24 goals in 29 matches. The speedy striker is also blessed with powerful shots and shoots perfectly with both foot.
