The immediate past Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare, has urged Muslims in the country to use the opportunity of the holy month of Ramadan to be kind towards their neighbors and pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigeria.
Chief Sunday Dare, made this call in a Ramadan message where he also called for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians. According to him, this Ramadan is a renewed opportunity for the Muslim faithful to seek God’s forgiveness, give up bad habits, and exhibit good deeds in line with the Islamic teachings of the holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
"I congratulate our Nigerian Muslim brothers and sisters as they join their counterparts all over the world to observe this year’s Ramadan fast. I urge them to use this special opportunity to love and forgive. Abstain from sins and treat others with kindness even during and after Ramadan.
Also, we must pray as much as we can in this holy month for the success of our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the country itself. Ramadan is not just about fasting, it is an opportunity to give up bad habits. It is about resilience, patience, and good deeds. May this Ramadan be the source of happiness and prosperity for Nigerians. Happy Ramadan." He said
