The Kaduna Zonal Head of Keystone Bank, Alhaji Bashir Yahaya Lawal, has reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to supporting traders and business owners in Kaduna State with loan facilities and other financial services aimed at strengthening their businesses and improving income generation.
Alhaji Bashir Lawal stated this while speaking with journalists on the sidelines of the formal inauguration of the newly elected Executive Committee of the Kaduna State Central Traders Union in Kaduna.
He said Keystone Bank had consistently provided financial support to traders and would continue to keep its doors open to marketers seeking to partner with the bank.
According to him, eligible traders, business owners and firms that meet the bank’s requirements and lending conditions would have access to the necessary funds and other business support facilities.
Alhaji Lawal explained that the bank’s services were available to businesses operating within Kaduna State, including traders who originated from other parts of the country, such as Lagos and Kano, but had established businesses in Kaduna.
He said the bank had focused on providing commercial loans and working-capital facilities, particularly for traders in the textile and electronics sectors.
He added that Keystone Bank also supports businesses with financing for the procurement of essential tools and equipment, as well as other initiatives designed to strengthen traders’ capacity, increase income generation and promote business growth.
The Keystone Bank Kaduna Zonal Head also commended the Kaduna State Government for facilitating the emergence of a new leadership for the Traders Union.
He described the development as a positive step that would strengthen collaboration between traders, the government and financial institutions, while contributing to improved business activities and economic development in the state.
